It’s amazing the lack of information that we receive. We live in a digital age where we can email information instantly, stay connected with someone across the globe, etc. However, when it comes to how dissemination of information (especially news) happens within the US…it is fairly disappointing. In the video, they show a world map based on news stories that Americans receive…astonishing. Suddenly the map is engulfed by two masses: the US and Iraq. It’s no surprise that they mention the surge in news coverage of things like Anna Nicole Smith or Britney. How or when are we ever going to connect to the rest of the world…what will be our turning point that will shift our focus?
